Today the puppies had their first pedicures. Their little baby toe nails have grown quite long and sharp in the last two weeks. I realized this morning that they really needed to be trimmed when after weighing all the puppies I had scratches on my hands. It really is a simple process as the puppies are so small and their nail beds are easy to see. Most of the puppies did a great job just sitting as they got a trim but a few of them were a bit alarmed about the whole process. All were rewarded with some time with Maddie after the pedicures were complete.
