| Maddie with all eight puppies |
It's been three days since Maddie has had the puppies and she is getting more of her energy and spunk back each day. Yesterday she wanted to play ball with Miley while we were outside and today she overheard me telling Miley we were going to walk to the woods. Maddie got right up and followed me to the door so she joined us on our walk and really enjoy playing with MIiley in the leaves and finding all the sticks Sandy knocked to the ground.

| It's a good day for a nap. |
The walk was good for Maddie and now she has rested nicely for the rest of the morning. Then this afternoon she had her first bath since having the puppies and is much cleaner again. Now she is with the puppies again and happy to just relax and watch them sleep. The puppies continue to nurse well and gaining weight and strength. It has been an uneventful day for them which good for everyone!
