Day number three has been another good day. The puppies had some visitors and seem to enjoy being held, although they seem to find a comfortable spot, usually with their faces in your elbow, and fall asleep within seconds of being picked up.
Maddie also decided that today would be the day she would allow Miley and Maurie to meet the puppies. Maurie thinks they smell funny but is very curious about the noises they make. Miley on the other hand just can't seem to get enough of them, she licked them and make sure they were clean, she will stand on her back legs to smell the puppies if someone is holding them too high for her to see or she will just sit and look at them. I am excited for the day when the puppies will be able to play with their sisters and chase them in circles.
I also took a short video of the puppies today. I had just awaken them so they were all very hungry. I apologize for the background noise but I think you can still hear their little grunts as they try to get something to eat.
