| hungry, hungry puppies |
The puppies continue to grow, I think several of them will surpass the two pound mark in the next 24 hours. They never seem to lack an appetite and Maddie has done a wonderful job making enough milk to keep all eleven of them satisfied. We are still rotating the puppies in two groups so that we don't overwhelm Maddie and so that each puppy is able to nurse without having to push through as many of their siblings.

Maddie continue to recover really well, she is more active every day. She continues to eat and drink and we need to be cautious that she isn't spending too much of her energy running and playing while we are outside and away from the puppies.
