Happy First Birthday!!!

It has been quite some time since we blogged last and I suppose a lot has happened in the past few months.

The puppies at 3 weeks of age, they were so little!

First, I was to wish a very HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to the puppies from Maddie's second litter! It hardly seems like it has been a year since we were sitting in the garage waiting out Super Storm Sandy and watching for their birth. We have enjoyed getting updates about some the puppies and feel confident that they are all loved members of their new families!

 

I, Lisa, have also moved back to Lancaster so Miley has enjoyed spending much more time with Maddie and Maurie. They all enjoy taking walks to the woods, playing fetch with anything that is thrown and during the hottest days of the summer they loved to spend time playing in their yard and especially loved swimming in their pools.

Miley would sit in the pool all day if we would let her.

Maurie is a bit more reluctant to get wet,
but still enjoys the pool when she can sit alone.

 

Maurie and Maddie did create some mischief, while they were playing in their yard one afternoon they discovered a loose board and decided might be more fun to play in the fields that stay in the yard.


 

Fortunately for us, they didn't get too far.

Maddie was able to squeeze herself through the opening
before we were able to fix it.
