The puppies are doing great! They are becoming more playful everyday. They really seem to enjoy chewing on their toys and have even started playing tug-of-war with each other. They are starting to play for a longer amount of time before they need to take a nap, but they still like to cuddle up and sleep on one large pile.
We have had lots of interest in this litter and are happy to announce that we have now found new homes for all eight puppies! We are excited about all the families we have met over the past week, we are confident that you will all treat our puppies well and raise them to be great dogs. Many of the families who will be adopting a puppy have had German Shepherds in the past and were looking to find another Shepherd to add to their family. For a few families this puppy will be their first shepherd but I trust they will do a wonderful job training their puppies and that they will love having a shepherd in the family.
As I cared for and played with the puppies today I couldn't help to think about the families they will be joining. I wish you all could hold and play with them again while they are still so small and cuddly however it really is best for them to be with each other and their mom. Since you can't hold your puppy today I thought a picture of him/her sitting in front of the fire place might be nice!
