Eight Days Old - Meal time

The puppies are doing great and have become quite the little piggies when it is time to eat. They have not opened their eyes yet but their other senses work well. They are able to figure out where Maddie has laid down and can get to her quickly to find something to eat. They are also usually noisy eaters and wiggle while they eat too.

 

This video will give you a better idea what having eight babies is like for Maddie. The lighting isn't the greatest and is tinted red because we still have the puppies under a red heat lamp to provide additional warmth.

 

 

 

This video was taken a week ago on November 1, when the puppies were just two days old. I had tried to upload it then but had some trouble. It is interesting now to look at how much they have changed in a week!
